1. Permitted Uses
- Submitting genuine humanitarian aid requests through the public intake form.
- Coordinating field response within your organization's coordination board.
- Managing a resource directory (shelters, clinics, distribution sites) for your response.
- Inviting authorized team members to your organization's coordination board.
- Routing cases to verified partner organizations with the submitter's awareness.
- Exporting your own organization's data for reporting, audit, or migration.
2. Prohibited Uses
- Submitting false, fabricated, or misleading help requests.
- Using AidGrid to impersonate emergency services, government agencies, or other organizations.
- Attempting to access cases, resources, or team data belonging to other organizations.
- Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk access of any AidGrid surface without prior written permission.
- Submitting content that contains hate speech, harassment, threats, or illegal material.
- Using AidGrid to facilitate, plan, or coordinate illegal activity.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or tampering with the service or its triage models.
- Circumventing access controls or attempting unauthorized access.
- Using submitter contact information collected through AidGrid for spam, marketing, fundraising, or harassment.
- Sharing login credentials with people outside your authorized team.
- Operating an account on behalf of a sanctioned entity or in violation of export controls.
AidGrid is not an emergency dispatch system. Do not use it as a substitute for calling 911 (or your local emergency number) in life-threatening situations.
3. Enforcement
- Violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of the account.
- We may restrict intake submissions from sources showing patterns of fraud or abuse.
- We may report illegal activity to law enforcement.
- Fraudulent help requests that endanger people may be reported to relevant authorities.
- Account termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund of prepaid fees.
4. Reporting Abuse
If you see content or behavior on AidGrid that violates this policy — fraudulent requests, impersonation, harassment, or attempts to access data you shouldn't — report it to hello@aidgrid.org. For security vulnerabilities, write to security@aidgrid.org.
